Trail-blazing competition announced |

 This is an opportunity for designers to put their creativity to good use and to get noticed, be seen and gain recognition. MetalFX technology allows the creation and production of designs never before practical. The limits of the technology are as yet uncharted: designers submitting their work will be exploring the cutting edge of design and blazing a trail to the future.
The prize for the winning entry is two 19” TFT screens supplied by Compunet, the Maltese representatives for Adobe InDesign. MediaMaker and Progress Press will be creating a 2006 desk planner featuring selected designs.
The competition is open to all designers working with the MetalFX technology. MetalFX opens the bounds of possibility, allowing designers the freedom to let their creativity off the leash without having to worry about the cost or practicality of their designs. The technology comes with colour swatches and plug-ins for most design packages, so designers and printers do not need to spend valuable time determining the correct ink densities for particular colours or effects.
The designs entered into the competition will be judged by a panel headed by Andrew Ainge, Managing Director of MetalFX Technologies. The judges will be looking for creative design, and effective use of the possibilities offered by MetalFX.
